Best reference out there for Stata graphs
Well thought out reference book, sure to be your go-to resource for making graphs. Making graphs in Stata can be a challenge even for the experienced Stata programmer. The problem is that every graph can be different, and remembering how to change an axis, legend, subtitle, color scheme, etc… can be extremely tedious. Michael Mitchell has come to the rescue with a well-thought-out and innovative approach to a reference book. Every topic is easily located, and there are hundreds of examples for you to emulate. The index is comprehensive, but the organization by tabs on the pages is the truly innovative part (at least, I’ve never seen it done this way in a reference book). He has made it simple to locate details on options, graph-types, legends, titles, and more by simply thumbing through the pages or choosing a specific color on the tabs. I don’t make a graph without referencing this text.
