1. Great reference book for first year Comp Sci student
   Great reference book explaining Computing fundamentals. A lot of colored visual aids and diagrams that will help students understands topics at hand.

   This is a very intriguing and informative introduction book to coding concepts. Learning from material other than a screen has been helpful for me, and brought some joy back into learning!

3. Nice starting point
   I like how this book takes you from complete newbie and teaches about more complex languages and processes. wont make you a master programmer but it will give you tools you can use.

4. Slightly disappointed
   I’m already familiar with most of the languages in this book, but I figured it would be fun to do some of the projects they had inside. I was disappointed to find out when I received it, that the first two images on the product listing are not from this book. I was looking forward to building a password generator which it does not have in here. Also, the ‘build a game’ page for Scratch is different too. You still build a game but not what you expect from what is shown on Amazon.Still worth picking up if you want to learn to code or teach your kids.

5. High quality!
   I am not a seasoned programmer, so I cannot compare this to other resources available. Regarding the book itself, though, it is very high quality. The book itself is a hard cover with very high production values. Everything is illustrated and easy to understand. Like I said, I cannot vouch for the nitty-gritty that an expert might be able to, but from my perspective, this is a great place to start as a beginner.

11. Le design est vraiment sympa mais une fois cela passé des informations importantes sont manquantes et d’autres sont incomplètes. Les exercices de mise en pratique sont assez sympa mais ce qui ressort est que le livre en général mériterait d’être plus complet.Comme premier pas dans ce monde theodinproject est plus intéressant.

12. The book packaging is WORSE, why don’t these guys pack in a sensible and sane way ?Just wrap the cello tape for the sake of wrapping and packing !!!It damages my books while opening the package, PLEASE STOP PACKING LIKE THIS.
