1. Great study book
   I have used these books in my studies and this one was no different. I enjoy how it breaks things down and makes it easy to understand.

2. Don’t waste your time
   I don’t usually write reviews, but I figured I would for this book to help others. If you want to pass the CEHv11 exam, this book isn’t a good study resource. Using the EC-Council supplied ilearning resources, and Viktor’s udemy exam were great resources. Boson also has an excellent exam resource which helped significantly. I’ve used CompTIA books for their certs, such as the network+ and security+, and it did help me pass. I would only use CompTIA study materials for their certs. That is my honest advice. I hope this helps someone save their time and money.

3. A lot of content from v10 or basic generalizations
   I wanted to like this book, obviously otherwise I probably wouldn’t have bought it, but it just didnt really live up to my expectations. I had initially bought the v10 of this book and tried to use it to study for v11 and found the content and practice tests were very different so i was excited when the v11 finally came out. but theres a good amount of content that was in v10 that doesnt really belong in here, the practice tests dont seem relevant to v11, and the content is kind of a overall generalization without going deep enough into the material in most modules to be able to use this as more than a general summation of the material. I also purchased the official CEH course from EC council and it comes with a 5000+ page ebook that dives much deeper into the content. I also purchased the official practice exam from EC council and the questions are much more in depth questions than what you will find in the content in this book, for the most part. So, i guess after looking forward to this book coming out for so long its not really gonna serve much purpose other than to fill in space on my bookcase

4. If you have CEH v10 guide, use that
   The book is good but it does not contain any of the new material covered on v11. I don’t see Perdue model, ICS/OT, NICE Framework. It appears to be the v10.

5. Avoid
   This is very poorly organized book for the CEH exam. After reading through one time its hard to understand the correlation between the CEH objectives and the chapter organization. There is some basic information in there, but it is very poorly worded and just plain dull. The AIO book by walker is organized better and easier to read through. I would recommend waiting for the AIO 5th edition to come out in Nov. I’ve read through his AIO 4th edition and it was a much better read than this book.

6. Cannot solely rely on this textbook to pass
   I don’t write reviews normally but want to help out other people who are trying to pass the CEH. This book is not something that you should solely rely on the pass the exam. It will cover maybe around 50% of the exam so you will need to find other sources of info to pass. I would recommend EC-Counsil’s website to see the classes you can take and look at udemy to find more online classes.

8. Pour un livre de plus de 40$, j’aurais aimé qu’il soit en excellent état. Les coins du livres sont pliés, le bas du livre (voir photo) semble avoir été écrasé et des marques d’erraflures sont sur la couverture. J’ai précommander ce livre en juin et voilà le résultat.Le deuxième livre sera disponible dans 1 mois. J’espère qu’il sera en meilleur état que le premier.

9. Cumple con el título, especialmente si el temario del CEH v11 se te hace muy amplio, en cierto modo es como un resumen. Te envuelve fácil en la mecánica de los tests ya que tiene una web donde puedes jugar con un universo de preguntas y ponerte a prueba.Los flashcard no me aportaron mucho, pero los test se vuelven adictivos y te aseguras que no vuelves a fallar en esas.

10. I got this book in the preparation for my exam. This seemed like the best CEH study book at the time (the AIO book from Matt Walker was not available yet).The book has good practical information, but it’s not the best material to prepare for the exam. It does include the online test builder, which is much more useful. For the Exam, I recommend the Boson and CBT nuggets. Bookwise, the AIO edition from Matt Walker.

11. The way author divided the topic …. For me it was cumbersome.Not very detailed either .I won’t suggest this book for ceh .
