  1. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!
We’ve been playing FFXIV for a few years now and this book is the perfect bedtime story for the kiddo. He enjoyed seeing all the characters and the story is so adorable. I would recommend this to any fan, kids or adult. The art is amazingly done and you’ll want to read it all the time!

  2. Beautiful and fun!
It’s a cute simple story perfect for kids and adult fans alike. I’ve read it to my baby twice since it arrived (more for myself than him). The art in it is beautiful watercolors, and tons of detail. Of course I got it because I love chocobo and this did not disappoint with all the adorable illustrations of chocobo. The story is a pretty basic, being rooted in FFI, but that makes it a good story for a picture book. It’s a great addition to my Final Fantasy book collection!

  3. Wholesome Family Reading Material
My family loves chocobos, and my daughter is still the perfect age for these types of stories. It’s heartwarming and cute, easy on the eyes, and fun to read. She asks for this book frequently.

  4. Neat story, beautifully illustrated
I picked up this book to teach my education students a lesson on Lexile levels. I’m pleased with the purchase – in addition to a neat little story, the book is beautifully illustrated. Some of the vocab is a little advanced for a picture book, so be aware of that if you’re planning on reading this to young kids.

  5. Beautiful
This is a children’s book and it is written for them. The art is some of Toshiyuki Itahana’s best, and i recommend this to people with kids, and FF fans who love Itahana’s art.

  6. Cute story
This is a cute little story for any Final Fantasy fan to read to their young ones. Highly recommend both mom and dad and children love it

  7. My Kid LOVES This Book
I’ve read this story to my 5 year old a dozen times. We love the illustrations, and it’s a longer option than the “5 Minute Stories” that are the trend these days. If they came out with more, I’d get them all.

  8. LOVE This book – I’d like more like this!
Really great book! As a FF fan, it’s fun to expose some of this to my 3 year old daughter all the while enjoying it myself. The artwork is fantastic, the story is great – highly recommended

  9. Such a fun loving book, recommended for ages 4 and up because of some of the monster designs, but still amazing says:

Such a great chocobo book, very simple story but the art is so wonderful

  10. When I first picked up a Final Fantasy game as a teen, I never dreamt that over twenty years later, I’d be reading a Final Fantasy picture book to my four-year-old daughter. This is a lovely little book, filled with beautiful watercolour illustrations. Series fans will be pleased to spot classic FF job classes like black mage and white mage, alongside recurring series monsters like Bomb and Marlboro – and of course, cute little Chocobo himself! The actual prose is probably the weakest part of the experience – it’s standard fare about standing up to monsters with the power of friendship, but it works well enough for a children’s story.Overall I think I probably get a bit more out of this than my daughter does, but she seems to enjoy listening to it, so perhaps we have another FF fan in the making!

  11. Got this for my friends baby shower gift and it looks like someone’s skidded it across the warehouse. Came ripped and scratched up! Absolutely gutted! Seems preowned tbh. £14 for this, I feel a bit ripped off no pun intended! 😓
