  1. Great Conceptual Overview
This book is for people who understand the broad concepts behind devops, cloud computing, etc. and want conceptual explanations of technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless compute. It has great diagrams and it’s very clear. It gives you a what/why/how of each technology. It’s well-written and I found it to be extremely useful. If you’re completely brand-new to the cloud, maybe start with The Unicorn Project by Gene Kim. If you’re looking for code examples and other low-level implementation details, this book doesn’t do that — maybe check out other books that fit that need. For me, this book was perfect.

  2. Very informative and concise!
Very informative and concise! I was initially disappointed when I saw the book was so thin. I was surprised that it covers so much stuffs with no non-sense. Highly recommended!

  3. Introduction to the Cloud Native world
Very nice introduction to the world of cloud native applications and infrastructure.
Provides a good overview of the different building blocks and provides necessary background to dive deeper in this world.

  4. shallow view
This book is more like a survey of concepts of trends in cloud native world. The topics explained were not very indepth.

  5. If you are a cloud technology professional like me who loves building cloud native products, this book is a must for you. Whether you are a beginner or experienced, there is so much to learn from this book. It takes a top-down approach explaining most important concepts and patterns any cloud technology professional should be aware. It stops at right level, to ensure that concepts are cloud provider agnostic.
For cloud solution architects, this is the best reference book.
