edit: wait no my favorite part of this book is that the paper is the kind the magazine / textbook slippery kind, not the boring normal novely kindJust noticed there’s only 8 reviews here so far.I just received it yesterday, and have only read parts so far, but from what I’ve read I will say I am intrigued to read this. It seems like a good mix of the philosophical / theory with the practical / how to.The book has lots of images and QR codes and graphs (visual aides and interactive moments).The font spacing, margins, etc makes this very easily digestible / readable compared to his previous books.The book is bigger size wise than I thought it would be (it’s slightly wider than an 11 inch iPad Pro).I will come back here and write a more thorough review once i’ve completed the book, but it seems like a quick and easy read, and it seems like you can easily skip parts of this book that you already understand if need be.
Timeless principles
The book donât just give timeless principless and mindset for ones who are persistent to build a brand but also both visual & explained examples which makes the concepts easy to understand.I really like when authors try to emphesize the mindset and the thinking to build up a timeless skill instead of just short time strategies!Excited to start building my brand again!!
Great Book (You Must Read My Review)
I have read 20% of the book so far, and it hasn’t let me down. It goes into detail about how Gary predicted that social media needed to change from showing individual users content from their friends to content with high relevance to each particular individual. This allows the social media platform to have an unlimited amount of content for users, thereby benefiting the social media platforms by keeping users on their platform for longer periods of time and rewarding those who create this type of content (TikTokification). He explains that in this new era, having followers is not the key; instead, it’s about producing content that resonates highly with a particular market segment. He calls these market segments cohorts.For example, instead of creating content for your product aimed at a particular group as per the old promotion approach, you need to create multiple cohorts. One example he uses is Nike. Even though their brand is about “Just Do It,” he details how different segments of the population buy Nike for various reasonsâperhaps because their favorite store only sells Nike shoes, because it’s the current fashion trend, or because they like the comfort, etc. Therefore, social media is not about being fixated on your brand but about being flexible, having multiple cohorts, and creating creative, highly engaging content for them. Each cohort has different reasons for buying your product.Each cohort needs to be specific, such as males aged 20-25 who play basketball and live in New York. Based on their comments and interactions, you can continue modifying the cohort. When you create organic content that gets more views than other content you’ve published, you can start promoting it. The book also suggests that you can still use traditional promotional methods like radio, TV ads, and print ads, but before you do those ads, you need to have some metrics for backup, which will come from the organic content you post on social media.I am planning to use all these methods for my new startup, VintagePinkShirts.com, where you can find your ideal t-shirt from hundreds of designs for just $9.98.

This book is down to details and yet so easy to read. Itâs as if he told the world âhereâs how to build businesses in the current state, and hereâs how to do it.â Best book heâs put out, ever! Iâve already started adding the strategies to my daily marketing efforts. This is the playbook for anyone who wants to market and effectively grow a business, no matter the size.

This book didn’t disappoint! I have been working on Social Media marketing for years, both on my own, and engaging professionals. I felt like I was “doing it right” but have seen results. Simple smart advice with one editing flaw
Gary writes in a highly accessible style and presents a clear framework for building content that captures attention. Unlike purely theoretical books, Gary also includes real life examples of what works, and what doesnât, elevating the book to a higher level of practical instruction.My only complaint is that the phase âat the time of writingâ is heavily overused, to the point of being distracting and annoying. The reader does not need to be continually reminded throughout the book.But maybe Gary will make that phrase go viral. Heâs that tuned into the social network game.

Anyone interested in growing their brand or business needs to read this.Gary goes over all the major social medias and how to best utilize them, since all are unique and it’s not a one size fits all when dealing with content.I also enjoyed the real life scenarios given toward the end of the book and how Gary would advise.Really looking forward to growing with the tips given.
In a world where every and anything could be fake, GaryV is one of the realest person you’ll find in a world of online fakes. He is just a natural and he always speaks from his experience and I admire that. I read this book per page and I recommend you do the same thing. Here’s why. Each page provides an insight or SOC that you can test out. Read each page and test out the strategies and if they work, move on and so forth. My videos on Tiktok, Instagram never pass 200 ð . I applied each strategy one by one and they work. I have a reel with 21k play right now. Never happened before. This book is a true treasure in our Tiktokification Era. And I want to translate it to Spanish it Gary lets me.ð

This is Gary Vee at his best. Practical, hands-on, up-to-date, etc etc. Get the physical and then listen to the Audio book alongside of it, because the author often “goes off script” for some of the best content.

But 8 years later I have seen him live up to his words time and time again.I heard Gary V. talk up this book as being THE book on how to do social media for business in 2024. It is exactly that. He shows you what’s working, what’s not. What to write. What not to write. He outlines a dozen plus case studies where you can likely say, ‘yes, that sounds like me and where I’m at now’ then he tells you exactly what you should do.I bought the Kindle version for some ridiculously low price. The value I got? Ridiculously high.
