1. NO BOOK ON CREATING MIXED-MEDIA, DIGITAL COLLAGE AND PROCREATE LIKE THIS ONE!!!
   I’ve been meaning to write this review and have finally found the time to sit down and let everyone know about this extraordinary book. You are missing out if you love working with an iPad to create mixed-media art and have not purchased Nicki’s most recent book. It’s a remarkable book, complete with detailed, step-by-step instructions, combined with wonderful imagery and example projects. There are no other Procreate books available that compare to Digital Collage with Procreate. I have found that most appear to focus on drawing and painting (probably with illustrators in mind), and while this book includes that as well, it’s so much more. It’s outlined and written in a way that I can even understand. Nicki is a fabulous writer and instructor! I have taken a number of her online digital collage classes and have learned so much from her over the years. I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed in this book. I would highly encourage anyone looking to learn more about Procreate and creating mixed-media art to purchase this book. Nicki is amazing and so is this book!!!

2. I bought both Paperback & Kindle. I particularly love the Kindle version!
   I’ve read 40% of the book and it has been wonderful. I’ve read several other Procreate books and they have been a chore to read. This one has been a pleasure to read. I purchased the paperback first and since I liked it so much and since it was heavy to hold I decided to buy the kindle so that I could use the online kindle reader.The kindle version is very well formatted. I use the arrow keys to go to the next page or to go backwards. Now I can read it on my laptop in my lap (currently immobile due to a broken ankle).With Kindle I can take notes and bookmark pages. It is too small to read on my phone and I haven’t used it on my iPad but I love it online via my Chromebook.The paperback version is a beautiful book and is very well organized. You can’t go wrong with it.

3. Great beginners book
   I got a lot out of this book even though I have taken a class on procreate. The explanations are clear and easy to follow. Even if you do not want to make a collage you will learn about so many aspect of Procreate it will help jumpstart your digital art career (or just fun!).

5. Such an incredible resource and value for money!
   I have purchased more books than I care to think about but this is by far, one of THE best. Very easy-to-understand instructions on how to use the app, brushes & color swatches, create your own brushes [something I ordinarily would not have dared to attempt!], a preview of some Procreate brush effects, along with interesting projects utilizing advanced techniques [in bite-sized ways because videos sometimes skip small steps. I have seen these artistic effects on Photoshop for years and have just watched enviously from the sidelines, this book is a game-changer for the absolute beginner. Highly recommend.

6. Be Inspired AND Master Procreate
   Not only is this a well-organized beautiful book–which is important so as not to be overwhelmed–it’s written in Nicki Fitz-Gerald’s signature style: inviting, clear, inspirational, motivational; simply wonderful in every respect. It’s a very calming, encouraging book–I love learning from her artistic process as she teaches the mechanics of Procreate. It’s a beautiful synthesis of ART and learning skills to manifest one’s vision.

7. Stunning informative book, perfectly formatted for iPad and iphone
   General how to on creating digital collage with Procreate. Jam packed with detailed “how to”, instructions and example projects to walk you through the concepts. Plenty of room to do your own work rather than always just using the instructors downloads.Comes with links to downloadable files to work with (brushes, images, etc).Love the little interviews with other collage artists – exposure to more collage artists than just the author – though I LOVE the authors work.I buy and get bored with a lot of How To art books but this one is really holding up and keeping me engaged.If you are a total Procreate expert, the book still has a lot of specific work flow/ collage in for but hunks of the material may not be relevant. I am an experienced user but it’s been a few years since opening the app so I’m getting a lot out of every chapter.

8. Fantastic Book! Nicki is in a class by herself as an instructor!
   I know of no better teacher in the iPhone/iPad artistry space. Nicki’s artistic approach is amazing in itself (with so many possibilities!), and her ability to teach others how to become artists is nothing short of extraordinary.What’s more, Procreate really is the ideal app for creating art on an iPad. With Nicki leading the way, you’ll be able to master the fundamentals quickly; and with how rich the app is in features and capabilities you’ll never run out of exciting techniques to explore as you create your own art.If you want to be able to fill the nooks and crannies of your day with creating original art, Digital Collage with Procreate is a fantastic resource. The physical book is itself beautiful — the sort of book you’ll not only enjoy learning from, but will want to leave out on the coffee table to pick up for inspiration. (And I’ve been told it looks perfectly gorgeous on the Kindle app!)

9. Excellent book to learn the basics of digital collage with Procreate and to push learning further with projects where the author guides us step by step. Very stimulating because Nicki Fitz-Gerald leaves a lot of room for creativity with her suggestions.

10. I ordered and received this wonderful book just a couple of weeks ago. Although I’ve been using Procreate for some time, I’ve discovered so much that I wasn’t aware of previously. It’s such a comprehensive guide and contains a full chapter on the essentials of using Procreate. Every single chapter is packed full of information and interesting projects. Huge thanks to Nicki Fitz-Gerald for creating such a detailed, colourful and instructive book on how to create mixed-media art on your iPad. Her book now has pride of place next to my comfy chair where I sit to create my own iPad art. I can honestly say that I’ve picked it up to read and consult every single day since it arrived.

11. I have been using procreate for some years now, but nonetheless I learned so many new things thanks to this book!I am a great believer of beginners mind, we always have something to learn. I can assure you that you will learn tons of techniques with this book. Everything is explained clearly and you get a chance to put into practice everything she says. For me this is truly the only way to learn something and really owning it.

13. Making my way through the wonderful new book, “Digital Collage With Procreate” by Nicki FitzGerald . This is an excellent book to learn how to navigate the technology of Procreate in a clear, fun and approachable way. I started with this program from absolute ground zero. I took her introductory classes online and built confidence to move forward in a creative way I thought I was too old to even try. The book is in the same patient, step by step style with understandable illustrations and examples as well as articles from other digital artists.There is access to online resources usable as material for the completion of the projects in the book.I recommend this highly.
