  2. Excited to read this Dustin Brady series with my son
I acquired this book through Vine.I was interested in the product as a gift for my son.He and I previously read the Trapped in a Video Game series by Dustin Brady. When I saw this book available, I jumped at the chance to pick it up.The author’s style of writing paired with short chapters make this an enjoyable and manageable read, whether I’m reading to my son at bedtime or he is reading independently.Quickly reading the first chapter, I am sure my son and I will be able to relate to the main character, who is an aspiring YouTuber. His idol, Sir Hype, is filming a video inside of a video game. Using the technology introduced in the Trapped series, Sir Hype has invited his followers to join him inside a video game to compete in a mountain challenge. It’s video games, it’s YouTube, it’s adventure.I can’t wait to read this with my son.

  3. Cute book for youth
This book is ok. As an adult, I found myself getting a bit bored at various points and wishing things would move along faster. I would think kids around middle school would be much more interested. It was a fast read and a cute story.

  4. A book for the gamer in your life
So, this is the latest series of what started with the “Trapped in a Video Game” series, and was followed by the “Escape from a Video Game” series. I know this because after my 11 y/o daughter read Volumes I and II of this latest series in the span of 24 hours, I had to purchase the box set of the other two series, which she finished in the span of a few days.Basically, Dustin Brady is a genius children’s author and if you have a gamer in your life, they might just pause their game for long enough to read these books. But I have to suggest that if you’re going to purchase this book, you should also purchase Volume I, as well as the box sets of the other two series while you’re at it.

  5. Adventures in a video game
My reluctant reader is really enjoying the story on this one. The illustrations are great and help keep him engaged in the storyline.A great gift for a kid that loves gaming!

  6. Good
This is a good book. There is 25 chapters, so it might be long for some kids. Luckily, the chapters are short, so there is only 176 pages. There is a few pictures on the pages. This book is fantasy. Overall, I like this book.

  7. Adventures in a Video Game Series
My son read the original series during the pandemic and I was happy to see that they continued the series. Fun for gaming fans and now the streaming video generation. It’s easy to read, has some pictures throughout the book and can also be good for the reluctant reader that likes video games. Overall a fun series!

  8. Book
This book is the second in a series. I didn’t know that when ordering, but I think it’s okay if you jump in with this one. It didn’t make it too confusing or anything. Nice chapter book for kids (especially those who love video games) and there were nice illustrations sprinkled in throughout. The graphic style will appeal to many kids.
