The chapter on home medical treatments for emergencies and FYI, it was written by a former paramedic with 35 years of service in that profession, is one of my other favorites!Praying Medic has been gifted with the ability of being able to research and collect the most valuable information as well as present it in an easy-to-understand way.With 32 succinct chapters that cover the widest variety of information on this topic that I have ever come across, I can see this book becoming a classic and a staple for educating oneself in the area of emergency preparedness.Each chapter has an action step list of things you can begin to do NOW to help you be prepared for natural disasters etc.I am a book lover, and this is one of the BEST and most VALUABLE books I have ever added to my vast library!The two friends who received this as Christmas gifts were THRILLED to get this book! :)Praying Medic approaches this subject with an upbeat and optimistic, yet realistic attitude. Approachable for the Novice, an Excellent review for the Advanced Prepper
Informative, simple and clear with the perspective you need to concentrate your emergency preparedness efforts on the measures that matter most for you and your situation. This book is less for list seekers (give a man a fish) than thinkers (teach a man to fish).

Feel more equipped for minor to major events
Iâm familiar with the authorâs work in other areas, and was really excited to get this book. His tone is so calm (reminds me of Bob the Painter honestly).We fared very well over Covid lockdowns despite being in a more aggressively closed state, so I expected a review in some areas. However, the way information is organized is as helpful as th Ed info itself. You assess which kinds of disruptions might be in play gif you, based on that determine what shirt and long term prep looks like for you and then PM methodically goes through areas of planning like water, food, shelter, safety and communication.Itâs presented in a way that feels like a guided packing list, not a litany of reasons to panic. For example, Iâm ordering Atlases bc my sense of direction is terrible without Waze.If youâre already organized for the normal events (snow, storms, etc), youâll still benefit from PMâs practical first aid and medical suggestions. The first six pages alone would benefit hikers, bikers and campers.PMâs expertise extends to other related topics – Iâm delighted to recommend this book and his other books as well.
Its a good basic book on preparedness
I bought this book as kind of a backup to jog my memory about whatpriorities should be when planning. I learned some things. Its wellwritten and well organized.
Excellent Resource
I haven’t finished the book as I just got it. It arrived quickly. This is a rescource to have on hand and refer to as needed. Like all of Dave’s books, they are well written and easy to read. It is “chock full” of needed information. I recommend this book to everyone.
Last chapter best.
Love the technology input on a dime. Plus the details on honestly how things are designed to work and their significance in and outside of even doeable. Nice commentary of Faith end. Enjoyed it. Good for everyone religious or practical.
