My 5/6 year old loves it.
I had âWhich Wayâ and âchoose your own adventureâ books when I was a kid. This is like that with modern subject matter. Itâs fun. Great box set. Heavyweight quality paper.
Good book, create your owns are the best
Best way to encourage kids to read is to have them immersed!
Awesome, but a bit confusing
I bought these books to my son and this is his review : â I loved reading all four books, I read Trapped in a video game and thought it was pretty Awesome and funny too, thatâs why I read this book series and I loved it, but it was a bit too confusing with choosing the paths, but Ioved the idea of deciding which paths to take. Anyway, loved it!â
Resistant reader
I bought this series and the series before this one for my 3rd grader, who fought me on reading since before Kinder. This series has taught him the love of reading. He is reading everything right now! After reading the first series, he chose Escaping a Video Game as his next series. Heâs not choosing single books to read. Heâs choosing series!!! I am so excited to see his growth.
Great series for reluctant readers!
My 9yo is a reluctant reader and he DEVOURED this series! We have also read other titles by these authors. Great gift for video-gaming boys/girls!
Great
My son really enjoys the books
Great series
My 12 yr old grandson loved them. He asked for this series after previously gifting him the Help I am Trapped in a Video Game Series. Great for kids who you have to get their heads out of their video games.
9y old loves this author and series
To be honest I havenât read much of my sonâs books but this author and the prior series Trapped in a video game got my son reading nightly. If your kids like video games this and you want them to read more grab these books.
Our 10 year old likes to read but struggles to find books that interest him. He stumbled on the book set from the previous series and fell in love. Itâs nice to see him devouring this second set of books!
Looks like a decent box set.. but plastic was opened and it was to be a gift so had to return, as canât gift something opened!
While my son doesn’t dislike these books, he is definitely not enjoying them nearly as much as the Trapped in a Video Game series of books. The original series he literally couldn’t put down and he has read them several times, so he was super excited to see there was a new series of books. Unfortunately, they were not what he was expecting. He wanted straight up books like the previous series, but these new books are full of puzzles that have to be solved in order to read the story, so he was super disappointed. He just wanted books that he could read from cover-to-cover as a way to relax. Instead, he found these books a bit frustrating because he felt the puzzles took away from the actual story line.
