Iâm a data engineer who primarily codes in SQL, knows C# and OOP, and enjoys F#, Scala, and functional programming. I learned a lot about functional programming from Mr. Abrahamâs first book, âGet Programming with F#,â so I was super excited to find out that he was writing a second book and I preordered it directly from Manning.I recently finished âF# in Actionâ and I thought the book was outstanding! I was surprised by how pragmatic and concise this book is compared to so many other programming language books that go on and on about miniate and edge case features. Weâre very lucky to have someone like Mr. Abraham explain functional programming and the F# language using simple terms that everyone can understand.I absolutely recommend this book to anyone who thinks deeply about programming languages and wants to improve their programming skills. F# is a very cool language and it will likely change the way you think about solving problems in a profound way.
