2. How to Crush it with your Cybersecurity
   “SO helpful – and un-ironically appreciate that this is a book, not a website, ha…As the author confirms, there are so many un- and under-reported cyberattacks these days, it is reassuring to have all of this information in one place. Love that the insights come from all sorts of people – including “reformed hackers”. Aside from being informative, this book is interesting! For example, learning about the pre-internet history of “cyber-attacks”, like “Phone phreaking”, as well as the history of some of the largest data breaches/cyber attacks and their repercussions (i.e. Capital One, Twitter, Marriott, 23&Me, AT&T, etc.)….At times, I felt overwhelmed reckoning with the reality + sophistication of cybercrime, but those feelings were often cut short with bite-sized Hack-Proof Tips and Hack-Proof Case Studies throughout the text. As the title suggests, it talks about Small Business + Entrepreneurially-inclined protections but (honestly most helpful for me), it also talks about identity theft protections on a more individual level. This is not about fear mongering – while it was definitely sobering, I now feel more empowered navigating the internet, cloud, and smart devices in my life and will definitely share this book with loved ones.”

   Hack Proof, provides essential strategies for protecting business networks. I expected more practical examples, but overall, the book is solid. Highlights include creating a cybersecurity culture (p. 2) and securing remote work (p. 144).
   Significant passages like the immediate protection measures (p. 78) offer actionable steps.
   Despite the need for more real-world case studies, it’s a comprehensive guide for business owners aiming to enhance their cybersecurity measures.
   The glossary and self-assessment tools are particularly useful for applying the concepts discussed.

   I’ve been looking for a resource to learn more about how to protect my business – and this book delivered! The two pronged approach was interesting to me and was good to learn. I also appreciated the review of the various types of attacks, and learning more about how hackers think.

Educate your employees about common threats, safe practices, and the importance of being on watch. Regular training and updates about the latest threats are super important​. 9. As an entrepreneur working from home, I thought my current security practices succifiently protected me, wow was I wrong! I feel so vulnerable lol.
   Sergey gives 4 easy steps to implement a secure work environment at home….and I greatly appreciated his glossary at the back of the book…so many new words 😁

It was easy to read for those of us not tech-inclined, and I appreciated the checklists and the real-world examples, which really highlighted the importance of maintaining our privacy.

11. I like the boxes with tips and case studies. They stand out in the rest of the text and you could read only them if you were short on time.
    Lots of pages but the font is large so you can read it fairly fast.
