1. Beautiful, informative book
   I should start out by saying that I love all of Liz Kohler Brown’s classes on SkillShare. Her teaching style is perfect and I’ve learned so much already. When I heard she had written this book I knew I needed to own it. Upon downloading, which is simple by the way, I was immediately thrilled with my purchase. Liz goes into great detail about every step of the hand lettering process, as well as gives us great tips for Procreate. I really like how the book is set up and the wealth of knowledge she shares. I’m just a hand lettering beginner, for now, and this book will be a huge resource for me. I’m excited to see what I create, with the help of Liz and her Hand Lettering on the iPad with Procreate book. If you’ve been wanting to learn hand lettering, or even if you want to stretch your current skills, I highly recommend you purchase this book. You’ll be glad you did…..and you’ll probably start a new addiction of hand lettering!

2. Pretty handy for trying out and learning a lot of procreates features
   I was pleased with the color, step-by-step layout for each of the projects. Made it easy to go back and follow at my own pace versus some books or tutorials I have tried. Good for a beginner and all the techniques apply to whatever type of work you are doing not just say, lettering. Great resource and I reach for it often as I am learning to draw digitally with Procreate.

   The author is a great teacher. This was easy to understand. The layout and instructions were easy to follow along with. I’m really happy with this book!

4. Fun Comprehensive Guide to Lettering
   Liz Kohler Brown has put together a fun, comprehensive guide to hand lettering using the iPad and Procreate.She has included colorful examples, practice sheets, tons of resources and inspiration. She also walks you through the basics of Procreate. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in learning how to letter using these tools. Liz is a fantastic teacher on Skillshare – her classes are the best. Now add author to the mix of artist, teacher and kind mentor. Five Stars!

6. Excellent must have book for hand letterers in Procreate app.
   This is an excellent book for anyone wanting to learn hand lettering using the procreate app on IPAD. Hand lettering has never been so easy with this app. Liz Kohler Brown takes you through every step of the process from understanding the app to different font forms, mixed fonts, embellishments, layouts,, sharing and more! I have been hand lettering for a few months, but this will help me take my lettering to a whole new level. I read the book from cover to cover on the first day (kindle version). It’s easy to download using the kindle app. I cannot wait to put all my new information to practice.

7. A must-have for hand letterers!
   If you’ve had the pleasure of taking some of Liz’s classes on Skillshare, you’ll recognize her attention to detail right away (if not, please head over there and check them out, you won’t regret it!). Her book offers step by step guides on how to create lettering pieces from start to finish- from choosing color palettes and lettering styles, you’ll have plenty of choices and guidance to feel confident in your work! I absolutely recommend this book to anyone interested in hand lettering!

   This book is great for anyone interested in the art of lettering. It gets into great details about combining illustrations and lettering which is hard to come by in most lettering how to.

I was skeptic about the reviews being so positive cos you never know but I bit the bullet and went ahead and made my purchase.I am only 16 pages in and honestly I’m really impressed with how informative but easy to read and understand this book is. The step by steps are so unbelievably easy to follow I’m in awe lol.The pages are nice and colourful and not overly wordy. I appreciate that the author made brushes and practice sheets. I can tell that this was money well spent and I have no regrets whatsoever.

12. This is a very comprehensive guide to digital lettering with procreate on your ipad. The author gives you a deep insight into traditional typography and translates it very well into the digital world.

13. Liz Kohler Brown è un’ottima insegnante, è in grado di spiegare anche gli aspetti più complessi di Procreate con grazia e leggerezza. Il libro è ideale per chi vuole imparare a disegnare caratteri e font con il programma Procreate ed è accompagnato da supporti informatici (Pinterest, sito, gruppo Facebook) veramente funzionali per chi si vuole mettere all’opera immediatamente. Il vantaggio del libro rispetto al normale tutorial consiste nel fatto che si può agilmente tornare a controllare i passaggi importanti e si può farlo ripetutamente. Il libro inoltre resta. Liz guida il lettore attraverso una serie di progetti, alla fine dei quali si è in grado di muoversi indipendenti nel lettering.
