1. Great book to unwrap the layers of AVs
   This book has been an absolute joy to read. An absolute must for any one interested in unraveling the convoluted landscape of Autonomous vehicles and how functional safety applies to it. I have been following Prof Koopman from a long time and would recommended the other books as well.

2. Masterful, Insightful, well structured investigation of Autonomous Vehicle functional safety
   To those pursuing a career in functional safety, this book deserves concentrated study. Dr. Koopman has produced masterful guide and commentary relative to the strengths and weakness of current safety standards. He has also produced an honest evaluation of autonomous vehicle safety which is well thought out, structured, and backed up with significant references. 3. Applicable to more than ground vehicles
   Dr. Koopman’s text provides critical background regarding standards and their applicability. Anyone working in autonomous vehicles, including aircraft, should read this text to properly assess hazards associated with autonomy.

4. How detailed? What is missing?
   It has a powerful content from overview point of view. Introduction to AV safety geography.It would be good to have visuals in it.I would expect more detailed discussions. Text could be more precise and concise but book is more readable this way for newcomers.

5. Book misprinted. Starts at page 135
   The first part of the book is missing. The first page after opening the front cover is page 135. I am assuming this is a misprint.

6. Solid work. In-depth explanations. Reliable thinking and analysis. If the safety of automated vehicles is part of your work, then this should be on your shelf.

7. Das Buch gibt interessante Einblicke in die Welt der autonom fahrenden Fahrzeuge. Es beschreibt sehr detailliert die Begriffe, Probleme, Voraussetzungen usw.Man muss das Buch als Fachliteratur sehen, weniger als informative Unterhaltung.
