Gaining clarity and efficiency in our learning and… our thinking
As soon as I start to go through this book, I notice it clearly has the potential to be truly game-changing in terms of how we can train ourselves to learn and, fundamentally, think our way through our intellectual pursuits in life.It seems like a captivating process to internalize how Lev and Anna Goldentouch convey their thought processes in areas of both logic and creativity. Thus, one can gain a tremendous level of efficiency, of course, if one is also committed to actually putting in the work to reap the desired results.I love how nicely and organically critical insights from fields of knowledge like Math and Chemistry blend in with those from Quantum Physics. Also, there seem to be many underlying principles of human psychology at work all throughout this book. This refers, in part, to ways of avoiding the pitfalls that the human mind is prone to. For instance, Daniel Kahneman’s Prospect Theory (including the influence of biases), as well as his work on Noise (including the ways our minds tend to distract themselves in our everyday workflow) are key-elements taken into account within these efficient and effective learning technologies, proven through the rich experience and data processed by the authors in creating comprehensive framework within this book.
Treasure Trove
The author’s extensive background in tech really shows in this book. I was particularly fascinated by how the author made connections between technical systems of handling information with frameworks of philosophy and quantum mechanics. As a side note, personally, aside from the enormously beneficial practical guidelines, it also makes me think about existential questions. In any case, the books from this author are one of the best investments in my life. I wish I had known all that I’m learning from the authors when I was much younger. Oh how much trouble and time I would have spared myself! In any case, now I have the opportunity to learn for myself so much of what I had missing out on, thanks to the authors making them accessible. And I know that the authors really walk the talk of all that’s in the books, because I had the chance to have a few exchanges with them. They’re really nice and awesome people that want the best for you. I’m so grateful for them.Bought on Kindle. Looks great!
