  1. A great story
I enjoy the world building, the characters, and the story. It did loose a star by spending entirely to much time on side characters and what they were doing nowhere near the MC. But overall a good story, would be better without all the side character only chapters.

  2. great second book… but…
I wiould love to give this five stars, but I can’t. There are to many typos and grammatical errors in the book to deserve it. But the story and characters are all great and I can’t wait to see what is in store for team Gideon.

  3. Unrealized potential
I wanted to like this book and while book 1 was not extraordinary, it was ok. But by the end of book 1 and all of book 2, it plummeted all the way down to that 2-star rating. The somewhat cumbersome writing style, very poor editing and the unnecessary, random ‘R’ rated sections all worked to terminate the potential in the story’s world. I forced myself to get to the end of book 2, skipping lots to do so.

  4. childish, couldn’t finish
Going to say I could only read 22% before I had to stop reading. The dialogue is beyond childish. The descriptions are insanely flowery. The run on sentences and strange places for commas are frustrating.
I don’t remember the first one being quite this bad when it came to the ridiculous dialogue or overly complex/flowery/poorly worded descriptions of things. It feels like it needs a few passes through a professional editor.
Although I find the idea behind the story interesting, I reached the point where I no longer cared about the book early. I forced myself to read another 10% of the way before stopping to make sure it wasn’t just the introduction. However even almost 1/4 of the way through the book it was the same, if not worse than the first part. And now that I realize I was almost a quarter of the way through, I can say either not much is going to happen in the book, or the pacing will be terrible, as the start has been slow.
Maybe some people will enjoy the conversations of a what feels like a 6 year old with super ultra ADHD who also is insanely horny all the time, but it wasn’t right for me.

  5. review your darn books.
Do a little copyrighting or pay someone on fiver to do it. It’s so bad, spelling errors grammar errors multiple words, story is great but the editing and copyrighting is so darn distracting. I feel like a high school softmore wrote a paper and then never fixed the draft.

  6. DO NOT RECOMMEND – Wordy.
DO NOT RECOMMEND – Wordy. So boring over emotional. 10% action. 10% other thing of interest. 80% whinny, wordy, filler, and emotional . Read about 40% of this book. Skipping about 15% of that. Just glad I didn’t have to spend any money for this joke of a book. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

  7. I like the story so far but both books could do with running spellcheck. Could use an editor too as it really impacts the flow

  8. Heck of a cliff hanger. More teasers of what may come. Can Gideon survive and save those he loves? I need to find out. I must have the next book. Why is its publication so far away!
