  6. This was a fascinating read that takes you on a journey through the evolution of both AI and publishing, and illuminates the possibilities of their future together. It was an easy, digestible and idea-packed book, suitable for my low-level understanding of AI.
    It’s a well balanced exploration – it takes a measured look at the dangers presented by AI, as well as the ways to make AI truly benefit publishing. It’s a rare perspective these days, and one that actually left me feeling proud of the resilience and innovation that’s always existed within publishing, and excited to see all that is to come.
    Sadek insightfully addresses the fears faced by authors, readers, and publishers, and shows practical ways to start benefitting from the innovations today – for example how AI can help authors can gain visibility for their works against matched target audiences. He gives many ideas for ways to integrate AI into the industry while preserving artistic merit, which is critical as we move forward with this new technology.
    In my view, this book is a must-read for anyone interested in the publishing industry’s future. To know where we’re going, we must understand where we come from. Authors, publishers, and readers need to be thinking about how AI transforms the industry, and how to get titles to thrive digitally by making the most of new opportunities.
