  1. I was a little bit hesitant at first when it came to ordering this book, after all, Cubase 15 will probably be out next year but that mindset was completely wrong. What is presented in this book will last way beyond the next version of Cubase because there’s very little in here that will change over the years. Steinberg will add new features but the core features and principles will remain the same.I know a lot of people these days (including myself) reply on YouTube for tutorials but you won’t find what you are looking for there so quickly and presented in such a clear and concise manner as it is the book. You name me a subject or a topic and I can be reading up on it within 15 seconds. Now, this is a big book (over 752 pages) so you really are getting a lot for your money here. This is so much more than just a Cubase reference book, even the index is 25 pages in length! I can’t go into much details simply because there is so much I would have to cover but needless to say, everything (and I do mean absolutely everything) is covered in great detail – not just the how to do it but also the why you are doing it.Thank you Darren, this book will stay with me in my home studio for a long, long time.

  2. Great update for version 14 features whilst maintaining excellent reference matetial. The music theory section is excellent and the explanation of modes second to none. Well worth purchasing.

  3. Darren Jones produces very helpful Cubase videos on Youtube (his channel is MusicTechTuition) so I took it to the next level and bought this excellent book.

  4. Buy this book if you have any reason to learn cubase or just want to study making music well done the author 🤠 have bought all his other books and they are just as good 👍
