It helped me to gain the basis of cloud services, infrastructure, security and others… This book is a must for aspiring Cloud – DevSecOps Engineers / Cybersecurity Specialists… Absolutely great work Priyanka, loved your book!
A must read
This book is genius! Don’t let the comic stick people and pretty colors fool you. It is chock full of information. Study the picture. Really look at what it is telling you. Then on the next page there will be a subtitle/question like “Why Containers?”. See if you can answer the question based on the picture. I bet you can. Write a little note. Then read the paragraph to see if you were right and fill in your knowledge gaps. I bet if someone reads the book in this way the material will really stick. Or you could just keep it on your shelf as a reference guide and grab it when you need to refresh your memory. That would work too. Bottom line, this book is a deceptively comprehensive guide worth studying and keeping in your library.

(The Cloud Girl) Priyanka Vergadia’s Sketch Notes are amazing. – I wish I could take notes like this! – While this content is available for free online (if you are willing to click through hundreds of pages) I am really grateful to have this content in physical “book” format to read, highlight, circle bits, write on, and reference.In the print edition, some of the diagrams are pretty small. – I wish it was in 9″ x 11″ landscape, and formatted to allow the diagram to take up the entire page (rather than wasting 1″ margin around each side).Overall: highly recommended! As there are new editions of this book I would buy them for sure.

Te presenta los conceptos de manera gráfica, lo que te permite ver la reolación entre los diferentes servicios de Google Cloud y asà lograr esa primera conexión visual que facilita el aprendizaje. Luego te explica detalles sobre cada servicio y lo que es mejor aún te presenta algún ejemplo que te permita ubicar los servicios de Google Cloud y saber cuando puedes utilizar uno sobre otro.

I have been working in Azure Cloud for 7 years. This book gave me a very quick and complete overview of the services and possibilities of Google Cloud. The language is easy and clear, despite my mother language is not English.
Inhaltlich gibt es m.E. nichts zu meckern.Ich wollte etwas zum entspannten Lesen.Leider ist das gewählte Format für die Zeichnungen ungünstig, so dass die Schrift für mich sehr schwer zu lesen ist (auch mit Brille).Auch ist teilweise die gewählte Farbgebung (weiÃe Schrift auf gelbem Hintergrund; und umgekehrt) sehr schwer zu lesen.Ich werde daher doch auf andere Quellen mit Zoom-Möglichkeit zurückgreifen müssen.
