1. The rest of the story most people don’t realize
   Having lived through Y2K from the software management side I know that “nothing happened” was due to a lot of work and money making sure nothing did. This book is a trip down memory lane for some of us and reflects what it was like and how we made it work on the technical side. Most of the book deals with resolving banking and insurance policy issues. I was not familiar with that aspect and started skimming most of it once I got a gist of the problems.
