    TLDR: I recommend this read to anyone who’s stuck either with getting their foot in the door for the first time or further advancing their stagnant IT career.Just getting straight into it – certificates and degrees definitely are better than nothing in this industry, but sadly it’s not everything. Companies ultimately want people who have the right skills and experience for the job, and IT is no exception.I’m really glad someone like Terry Kim is shedding light on an alternative way where you don’t have to spend God knows how much on university if you’re not already blessed with a grant/scholarship. On top of this because there’s no need to follow the traditional path colleges do, with his approach, you really don’t have to even spend more than 4 months learning and acquiring what’s necessary which left me speechless!If this has left you at least curious, I recommend just skimping out on your next outing this coming weekend and grab this book to read instead in case it helps narrow down the next chapter of your professional life and wellbeing like it did with me!
